What we collect, and why

Contact & lead forms: when you submit a form on this site (estimate requests, free inspection, contact page), we collect what you provide — typically name, phone number, email, property address, and a description of your project.

Chat assistant: when you use the chat widget on this site, we store the messages you send and the assistant's replies, along with the approximate city/region your connection appears to come from (based on your IP address, not GPS — we never ask your browser for location permission). If you give the assistant your name, phone, or email during a conversation, that becomes a lead record like any other form submission.

Site analytics: like most websites, we use Google Analytics and Google Ads to understand traffic and measure ad performance. This is aggregate, cookie-based analytics — not tied to your name unless you separately submit a form.

To respond to your inquiry, schedule inspections, and provide estimates.

To understand what visitors are asking about most, so we can improve the website and how we communicate — this is the main reason we review chat conversations in aggregate.

To measure which marketing efforts (ads, campaign pages) actually generate leads.

Lead and contact form records are kept as part of our normal business records for as long as needed to run the business.

Raw chat conversation text is kept for 3 months, then automatically and permanently deleted. Aggregate statistics derived from conversations (like "how many visitors asked about metal roofing this week") are kept longer for year-over-year comparison, but that aggregate data does not include your messages or personal information.

We do not sell your personal information.

We use a small number of service providers to run the site and respond to you: Anthropic (powers the chat assistant's responses), Resend (delivers our email notifications), Mailchimp (email marketing, only if you're added to our list), and Neon (our database host). Each only receives what's needed to perform its function.

Google reCAPTCHA protects our forms from spam and may set its own cookies under Google's privacy policy.

You can use this website without ever opening the chat widget or submitting a form — nothing is collected until you choose to interact.
